We designed our original itinerary in January 2003. Later, we changed it several times - both before our departure and during the trip (initially because of SARS, then due to various circumstances, especially due to the shortening of the trip from 12 to 9 months.) In the end, we traveled about 30,000 km, flew over 75,000 km and visited 18 countries in five different continents. The table below summarizes the destinations we visited and compares our actual timeline with the plan we had just before departure.
