The reputation of the Canadian Rockies precedes that of the Colorado Rockies. We have passed through the are twice before, but either lack of time or a really bad weather prevented us from truly experiencing the mountains. It was not until September of 2002 that we took a one week vacation to explore at least small portion of the mountains
