My four-day stay in Tokyo was dominated by the MICCAI conference. I managed to explore Asakusa, visit National museum housing some great Asian art work and briefly see from outside Imperial Palace in downtown Tokyo and Shinjuku at night, but that was it. Seven days after arrival my memorable trip was over. It took only eleven hours to travel half the globe and be back in the completely different, western world.
