Niko - UNESCO World Heritage Site
Niko is located couple of hours by train north of Tokyo. It sits in lush hills. There are many great temples and shrines in this area, and not being for all the tourists (mostly Japanese), it would be a very quiet place for relaxation or meditation. It is a beautiful place to visit. For us, it was on the way to Nasu, where we had business meeting. we just manage to spare couple of hours to enjoy the temples.
