Vietnam 2007
(8.4. - 19.4. 2007)

Hanoi, Hue, Danang, HoiAn, MySon, NhaTrang,DaLat, HoChiMinhCity

Vietnam was the major stop on my 2007 trip to Asia. I have met with John and Stana who were on their 12-month trip around the world and we traveled from Hanoi to HoChiMinhCity. (During our trip around the world, we managed to visit the south and the north, so this nicely completed it.)

Trip to NhaTrang

The long trip became even longer. Our bus broke down and we were stranded for 12 hours (overnight) at some small village in the middle of nowhere. Poor driver kept trying to fix the bus all night.

Nha Trang

NhaTrang is a seaside resort town.

Dalat

Dalat is a small pleasant city in the sounthern part of the Central Highlands.

"Crazy house" - designed and owned by an architect Mrs. Dang Viet Nga, this is a house trying to bring motives of nature into house architecture.

Dalat's easy rider - motorbike riders that take tourist for trips around Dalat and can be hired even for multiple-week long tours around Vietnam.

Dalat is famous for production of vegetables and flowers (there are daily jet-flights carrying flowers from Dalat to Singapore)
